laser hair removal is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures

Laser hair removal is a fast, gentle and the most effective way to remove unwanted hair with satisfactory results. Hair removal treatments were designed with sensitive skin in mind and are safe enough to be used on the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas and target different skin types while ensuring maximum results. Our lasers feature a unique dynamic cooling device that helps to calm, soothe and protect the skin during the treatment.

Lasers selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Each pulse of the laser takes a fraction of a second and treats many hairs at the same time. Smaller areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, while larger areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour.

The technician and the client will need to wear appropriate eye protection. When the procedure is completed, you will be given aftercare instructions, anti-inflammatory creams or lotions, or cold water to ease any discomfort. At this time, you should schedule your next treatment four to six weeks later.

It is imperative you schedule and keep your four to five weeks appointment for optimal results as hair will grow from new follicles the body naturally produces. Over the course of your sessions, 85% - 90% hair loss can be expected however, the length of sessions and efficiency vary based on hair thickness and inconsistent and/or missed visits. When all sessions are complete, according to some studies, you must return for touch-ups 3 months, 6 months or a year from the date of last treatment. The touch-up date will be determined with your technician.

As a special note: Results are impacted by normal chemical imbalances, hair and nail growth supplements and diet which is why during your initial consultation / visit paperwork outlining these factors are addressed.

At least one month prior, limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis.

For a day or two afterward, the treated area will look and feel like it's sunburned.

Cool compresses and moisturizers  help.

If your face was treated, you can wear makeup the next day unless your skin is blistering.

Wear sunscreen to help prevent temporary changes in the color of the treated skin.
